It follows you home. Into how you move through a room, how you handle pressure, what you replay on the walk back. Everything we make comes back to that.

The name

Chakka is the Hebrew word for a swish. A shot that drops through the net without touching the rim. It's the cleanest thing that can happen out there, and it lasts about half a second, which is roughly how long the best parts of anything last.

How it started

In a classroom, in 2025. I was studying to become a copywriter, sitting in a lesson, and the idea turned up more or less finished.

It came from something that had bothered me for years. I couldn't wear my favourite jerseys anywhere. They live in a drawer and come out for a court. That's a strange arrangement for the thing you care most about: the part of your life you carry everywhere is represented by clothes you can wear almost nowhere.

Why clothes

Because clothes are the thing people actually take everywhere. The game is everywhere too, whether or not there's a ball in your hands, and a tee is a reminder you can wear to work.

A while after that I came back from a long stretch of travelling, badly out of shape, and went down to the court in Hod Hasharon I've played on for years. I dunked. First time in a long time, after months of doing nothing about it. It was elating, and it was the whole idea in one afternoon. You don't leave it behind. It waits, and it comes back.

I was a copywriting student when this started. I'm a creative content manager now.

The first collection

Our first collection is the Starter Pack. It brings together the Beyond The Court tees: the Classic, with a small net logo at the chest and the full graphic across the back, and the Circle, built around a single badge on the front. Black or white. Nothing more than that, because it doesn't need to be.

How they're made

Every Chakka tee is cut from 220 GSM jersey, 50% recycled cotton and 50% cotton, certified to the Global Recycled Standard and to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, and PETA Approved Vegan. Oversized fit with dropped shoulders, a ribbed rounded neck with tubular construction, and reinforcing tape at the neck and shoulders so the shape holds. Unisex, sizes S to 2XL.

The jersey is imported. Every tee is printed here in Israel.

Where we are

We're based in Israel and ship across the country. For a handful of orders further out, in Europe, North America and Australia, we offer personal delivery, where the founder brings the order to you. Less a shipping option than a promise: you're not just receiving your order, you're receiving it from the person who built the brand.
